Special Cyclocross Offer for New and Returning Members

(Colorado Springs, Colo.) September 14, 2017 – USA Cycling today announced a special cyclocross offer for new and returning members. Beginning today, cyclists can purchase their 2017 race membership and get all of 2018 for the price of $115. USA Cycling has provided similar offers for the past two cyclocross seasons and there are two important points of note for 2017/2018: there is no price increase over 2016; and a new Junior age 18 and under offering for $55 has been added.

“We are excited to present the two-season cyclocross offer to our members,” said Kelly Reyes, USA Cycling Vice President of Membership. “This package has been popular in the past and by keeping the price the same as 2016 and adding the new Junior offer, we hope more cyclists will try cyclocross this fall.”

Annual USA Cycling adult racer licenses are currently $70 each. For members who want to race cyclocross for the next two seasons, this special deal offers a $140 value for $115. The pricing is available to any adult and junior cyclist: first-timers, renewing USA Cycling members and former members who want to come back to racing after a break. The membership will cover athletes for the 2017 and 2018 cyclocross seasons and will also allow them to race any USA Cycling-permitted mountain bike, road and track events in 2018.

This offer is only available for adult and junior domestic racer memberships and is not valid for international or collegiate. For cyclocross racers who only want to purchase a race membership for the remainder of 2017, the regular $70 annual license will still be available. If a member has purchased an annual race membership for cyclocross since August 25, 2017, they can receive a credit against the new 2017/2018 cyclocross membership.
