Welcome to the information page for the 2019 UCI mountain bike teams. On here you will find all the available information regarding registering MTB teams.
If you need assistance with any aspect of your team process, please contact Justin Evans at Jevans@usacycling.org or 719-434-4263.
UCI mountain bike teams can be classified as being strictly for a particular discipline — cross-country or gravity — or can be a combination of the two. If it is strictly a gravity team, then the team must have a minimum of two riders and up to a maximum of 10 riders. If the team is a cross-country or of combined disciplines, it must have a minimum of three riders and a maximum of 10 riders.
A rider may not be the team manager or any other team staff member. There must be a team manager listed for the team.
To register as a UCI MTB team, the following must be met:
Endurance Teams can apply for a registration only if the team is ranked with at least 75 points in the UCI endurance team ranking. This is determined by the riders individual UCI points in the UCI individual ranking of 1 January, calculated as per article 4.11.006.

This is determined by the final individual world cup standings of the previous year and the world championships results by attributing points as per the table in article 4.13.002.
