The USA Cycling Pro Mountain Bike Gravity Tour (Pro GRT) continued into its second event of the calendar, the Fontana City - California Golden State in Fontana, Calif. Logan Binggeli (Saint George, Utah/KHS Factory Racing) is holding onto his spot atop the men's standings, while the coveted perch on top of the women's standings is tightly contested. Three women share first place after Sunday's competition in California.

Mitch Ropelato (Ogden, Utah/Factory Specialized) won the men's race in California and collected 60 points to catapult into third place of the Pro GRT men's standings. Aaron Gwin (Wildomar, Calif./Specialized Racing) placed second in Sunday's race and sits 10 points behind the standings leader, Logan Binggeli (Saint George, Utah/KHS Factory Racing), who has 90 points after placing third. Michael Sylvestri (Truckee, Calif./Arma Evil) is in fourth place with 48 points while Kyle Sangers (CAN/PerformX DH Team) and Kevin Aiello (Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif./KHS Factory Racing) are tied for fifth with 45 points apiece.

The top of the Pro GRT women's standings is extremely congested with three competitors tied for first place. Jackie Swider (San Luis Obispo, Calif./Shredly-Team Bacon), Robyn Embrey (Incline Village, Nev./Shine Riders Co.) and Jacqueline Harmony (Tucson, Ariz./Team Harmony Pivot) each have amassed 60 points. Embrey won the women's race in Fontana to collect 60 points. Swider placed second on Sunday, allowing her to jump from fifth into a first-place tie. Harmony did not race in Fontana after winning Reaper Madness DH at Bootleg Canyon. Amber Price (Westminster, Colo./Bike Source Gravity) placed third in Fontana and now has 42 points in fourth place. Christine Dern (Salt Lake City, Utah/Lake Town Bicycles) is only two points behind Price with 40 points in fifth place.
