The Tantalus Time Trial is the oldest continuously running bicycle race in Hawaii.
Racers will climb approximately 1,400 feet while ascending the curvy 4.5 mile course to the summit!
Race begins at 7:00 a.m. with one-minute intervals. Starting times will be enforced!
Packet Pickup on Saturday, April 5th from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at The Bike Shop (Honolulu) located at 1149 South King Street
or Race Day Check-in on Sunday from 6:00 – 6:45 a.m
- ALL riders are required to check in and receive their race number prior to racing.
- ALL riders must complete and sign a USA Cycling (USAC) Event Release form.
- Licensed riders must present their current annual USAC license at check-in.
- Unlicensed riders must complete a one-day USAC license application for $15.00.
ALL RIDERS MUST WEAR A HELMET!
USAC Rule 1J1 – At all times when participating in an event held under a USA Cycling event permit, any rider on a bicycle shall wear a protective, securely fastened helmet. "Participating in an event" means riding a bicycle in the vicinity of a race at any time between the beginning of registration and the last awarding of prizes, but does not apply to riding rollers or stationary trainers in order to warm up.
USAC Rule Change: Sleeveless jerseys (Rule 1J5(a)) aero bars (Rule 1I1(d)) are allowed
