Pro-Style Cycling Camp 
Train like a PRO while celebrating your winter holiday break riding a bicycle in beautiful Southern California. This 6-Day Holiday Cycling Camp is designed for intermediate to advanced level bike riders with a solid fitness base. If you’re looking for a great way to enjoy the holidays while building your cycling fitness for that early season cause ride, triathlon, Gran Fondo or jump-start your off-season base-mileage, or prepare for a late-season run at a prestigious national or world title, this bicycle training camp is for you!

Spectacular ride-loops along foothills, canyons and Pacific Coast of the famed Santa Monica Mountains, led by accomplished cyclist and former UCI Masters World Champion & World Record Holder, Keith Ketterer. Whether you ride one-day or all six, you will leave this cycling camp with hours of high-quality, off-season base mileage and endurance fitness. Along the way, you will advance your bike-riding skills with tips, pointers and friendly advice while pedaling.

Cost ~ $549 for all 6-days or $99 per-day, plus registration fee & required USAC License

  • Travel, hotel, meals and incidental expenses are not included in camp fee
  • Booking and payment for required USA Cycling License, travel, hotel, meals, incidentals and camp fees are the responsibility of each camp attendee.
  • Camp discount at our host-hotel, Courtyard Thousand Oaks. $84.00 a night, based on single-occupancy, for a limited time. Online use booking code RTDRTDA or call and ask for Roundtrip Cycling Camp Group Block.
  • Use our (A’ La Carte Registration Format) and sign-up for all 6-days by checking the all 6-days category box marked $549 or any number of days less than the 6-day option, by checking the box(s) marked $99 for the ride-day(s) and date(s) of your choice.


Ride Start ~ 9:00 a.m.
All rides start promptly and finish at our host-hotel, the Courtyard by Marriott in Thousand Oaks, California. Meet in the lobby at 8:30am for sign-in, introduction and a brief meeting before we roll. If you need housing, block-discount rate is available.

Routes/Courses – rolling sag everyday including water, Cytomax energy mix, bars & drops

Thursday, Day-1      
64 mile-4.5hrs, 4200+ ft elevation gain, rolls down to Pacific Coast Hwy along a portion of the 1932 Olympic  Road Course, over  Mulholland Hwy, down past Rock Store, thru Westlake & Hidden Valley

Friday, Day-2            
51 mile-4 hrs, 3000+ ft elevation gain, out thru Conejo Valley, around Westlake, to Calabasas and back thru Hidden Valley past the opulent Sherwood Country Club. Additional mileage available

Saturday, Day-3       
67 mile-4.5 to 5hrs, 5100+ ft elevation gain, rolling down to the ocean on Pacific Coast Hwy, climbing over Latigo Canyon, descend Decker towards Westlake, through Hidden Valley

Sunday, Day-4          
48 mile-3.5 hrs, 3900+ ft elevation gain, Conejo Valley, to Mulholland, up the Rock Store Climb made famous during stage 8 of the 2010 Tour of California, descending Decker, thru Hidden Valley

Monday, Day-5        
73 mile-5 to 5.5 hrs, 6100+ ft elevation gain, this is a big climbing day, ascending/descending several canyons of the infamous Santa Monica Mountains, including Encinal, Decker and Mulholland

Tuesday, Day-6        
52 mile-3.5 hrs, 2900+ ft elevation gain, Conejo Valley Tour to Simi Valley, past the Reagan Library, returning to the hotel by 12:30 to accommodate departing flights. Additional mileage available


Notes

  • This cycling camp is permitted through USA Cycling, requiring all participants to hold a current USA Cycling License, sign a USA Cycling release waiver and a Roundtrip Cycling participation release waiver.
  • You must meet all requirements in advance, to participate in this camp.
