 Event Description
First annual Masons Midsummer Meltdown cross country race and fundraiser Held on the sweet “Wyco” singletrack trails.

 Course Description
Course Description: Consisting of approximately 8 miles per lap this fun, fast and challenging course is a mix of flowing hand benched singletrack, challenging climbs, blazing downhills, a few fun features and a smidgen of double track thrown in to insure plenty of passing opportunities. I guarantee this course will put a smile on your face no matter if you’re a first time racer or grizzled veteran.

 Registration
Registration: Online registration is highly recommended. Registration will be available on race day ending 15 minutes before each starting time. Racers’ meetings will be held 10 minutes before each starting time. Fees: Online registration for Cat 1 $30; Cat 2, 3, SS, Clyde $25; Juniors $15. Race day registration will be an additional $5. All proceeds from the race will go directly to the Trail Masons Association to help build and maintain more singletrack trails for all to enjoy.

 Notes
Event Notes: Wyandotte County Lake Trails are marked with an intersection numbering system for your navigation convenience. A trail system map and course cue sheet is available for download for your pre-ride enjoyment. This event will be postponed to a rain date if it is believed that significant trail damage will occur by running the race on the scheduled date.

 Directions
Directions: Wyandotte County Lake Shelter #3 is easily accessed from I- 435, just north of Kansas Speedway. From I-435 proceed east on Leavenworth road, pass the main park entrance and take a left north on 83rd street, take a left at the park entrance, you will take a right at the lake and then a left at the sign saying shelters 3,5,9. Shelter #3 will be the first on your left. There will be plenty of signs to assist you on race day. Overflow parking will be available at the main trail head above shelter 9 just a short bike ride away.
