|The 2013 UFD’s endurance season continues with the 5th Annual Bone Bender 3/6 Hour MTB Odyssey. The event is permitted with USA Cycling . Host teams are the Cow Town Cycling Team, The Wheel Cyclery and Team GO
|The BB36 consists of a 10 to 15 mile loop course comprised of rocky technical sections with many short power climbs. Several areas will cross rocky stream beds. Other areas will have fast flowing sections. All this along the North Shore of Clinton Lake which is ranked among the best trail systems in the Midwest.
|Register today at www.usacycling.org. Field limit of 300 applies. Online registration closes on 4/11/13. There will be registration available during Saturday’s packet pickup (up to field limit) .
Early registration fees: $35.00 for 3 hour , $50.00 for 6 hour, $60.00 per team.
Pre-registration fees after 3/1/13: $40.00 for 3 hour, $55.00 for 6 hour and $65.00 per team
Onsite registration fees (if available) : $45.00 for 3 hour, $60.00 for 6 hour and $70 per team.
Entry fee includes one-day license and $3.00 for insurance. Also included in entry fee is a custom event t-shirt (if registered by 3/15/13), fully stocked aid stations and post race refreshments.
Sorry, there are no refunds of entry fees in case of extreme weather or event postponement The money will go to support local trail systems and organizations that better cycling and trails in our region. Transfers are allowed until 4/11/13
7:30 am - Packet pickup opens
9: 30 am - Packet pickup closes
9:45 am - Riders meeting
10:00 am - BB36 Begins (with neutral rolling mass start.).
1:00 pm - 3 hour ends
4:00 pm - 6 hour ends
**Awards will be presented after the protest period ends. Separate award presentations for both 3 & 6 Hour events.
|I-70 - take from KC (traveling West), to exit # 197 - the Lecompton exit. There well be a brown sign with white letters that says Clinton & Perry Lake) Take Hwy 10 East (South) to the Clinton Parkway Exit. At the bottom of the exit ramp turn right at the stop sign, take another right at the dead end, then take the second left on 1415 Road (Park Entrance). Follow signs to the Swim Beach - See Red star below for location
