"Cory began riding bikes back in the early 90's and also started racing BMX. She raced Nationals for a couple of years before she realized she didn't like the pressure of pedaling around a track. Additionally, she started riding dirt jumps and skateparks and soon found herself competing in Freestyle Contests. Coffey has traveled the world riding and competing and has earned herself two World Championship titles in Freestyle BMX. She also finished 2nd overall in the UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup in 2016. In 2001, Cory became the first woman to ever backflip a bike in competition.
Cory is now a Level 3 Instructor through the IMBA Instructor Certification Program and coaches at events all around the country throughout the year inspiring ladies to shred on their bikes. When Coffey isn't coaching, you can find her traveling around the world riding single track, dirt jumps and skateparks."
