Meet the Athlete

After dabbling in most cycling disciplines as a junior, Adrian began racing more seriously in college at the University of Washington. After graduating he raced elite amateur throughout the US with the Hagens-Berman elite team, as well as overseas on the track at the UIV six-day series. After returning to law school in 2008, at what he thought would be the end of his career, he found new motivation in the sport and joined the UnitedHealthcare team for what would be a nine year tenure. During that time, he raced on six continents in a wide range of events, became an integral part of the winningest criterium team ever assembled, met his future wife, graduated from law school, moved to New Zealand, and was admitted to the bar in Washington, DC. After UHC folded at the end of the 2018 season, he turned his full attention to the USA Cycling men's track endurance program on their path towards to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. He's since specialized in the Madison, and has won multiple National, Pan American, and World Cup titles and podiums on the path to qualifying a start spot in Tokyo.
