Events must be on the CXNC calendar for at least one year before joining the Pro CX calendar.
Colorado Springs, Colo. (July 18, 2014) – USA Cycling announced today the 2014 Cyclo-cross National Calendar (CXNC). The purpose of the CXNC is to recognize top domestic events and provide them with the opportunity to achieve UCI recognition. Those races that seek UCI inscription on the USA Cycling Pro Cyclo-cross Calendar (Pro CX) must first be a part of the CXNC for at least one year.

Three events make up this year's CXNC, starting with the GP Clark Natwick in San Francisco, Calif., on Sept. 21 and followed by the Nov. 1 VeloCX in Blaine, Minn. The 2014 calendar concludes Dec. 6-7 with the Ruts 'N Guts in Tulsa, Okla.

Among the requirements for inclusion on the CXNC is an elite cash purse, as well as the agreement to submit race results to USA Cycling within 24 hours for proper rankings calculation.

If you have any questions about the bid application or race director responsibilities, please contact USA Cycling National Events Manager Rachel Leif at rleif@usacycling.org.
