USA Cycling adds Intelligentsia Cup Prairie State Cycling Series to NCC

Colorado Springs, Colo. (October 23, 2013) — USA Cycling on Wednesday announced the addition of the Intelligentsia Cup Prairie State Cycling Series to the 2014 edition of the USA Cycling National Criterium Calendar (NCC).

The Intelligentsia Cup Prairie State Cycling Series, a series of crits and road races in the greater Chicago area, will produce a one-day NCC event for men and women on Saturday, July 19, 2014, in Lake Bluff, Ill., on Chicago’s north shore. The Series also hosted a NCC event in Lake Bluff in 2013.

This brings the total number of events on the NCC in 2014 to 17.

The NCC begins March 22 in Delray Beach, Fla., when riders compete in the Delray Beach Criterium.
