Team Specialized - Junior Road National Champs - Day 3

++ Day one of the USA Cycling Road National Championships was our individual time trials - eight teammates, eight noteworthy efforts
++ Day two was the road race for 15-16s and 17-18s - 3000 feet of climbing in 40 miles with a hilltop finish, one horrible trip to the hospital
++ Day three was today

Sean McElroy (14, hometown Palmdale, CA ) and Jules Gilliam (14, hometown Manhattan Beach, CA) toe the line for the junior 13-14 road race.  Three laps of 9km for just 27km of racing.  Two climbs per lap and Sean's strategy for the three laps is to "go hard, go harder, and win" so he went out and won... solo by a minute.  Congratulations Sean on your National Championship!  Jules was in the chase group and sprinted to 8th place.
