You won’t want to miss the heated battle for men’s and women’s overall titles, as Specialized riders and Olympians Todd Wells (Durango, Colo.) and Lea Davison (Jericho, Vt.) toe the line.  The action will unfold as the pros navigate three custom-made A lines -- the Specialized Fate, Epic and Rumor -- in the 3.8-mile race course.   Riders will race several laps ensuring a great spectator experience. On Sunday, August 4, while the pros take on the short track, amateur riders can test their mettle on the pro cross-country course. With Specialized demos, Harpoon beer, and incredible local food, this race is going to be a festival!
Not only is this event a first in Northern Vermont, the Specialized Catamount Classic is breaking ground for female athletes. For the first time in the history of mountain biking, G-form is awarding the pro women riders more prize money for their accomplishments!
Join us for Pros Night on Friday, Aug. 2, and get the race weekend started right. Meet your heroes the night before the race at Breakwater Café from 4-6 p.m., rub shoulders with the pros, enjoy a beautiful evening on the lake and a crisp beverage from Harpoon Brewing.
