Motivation: Losing a race always motivates Shealen to train harder.

First Involvement in Cycling: Shealen's dad got her brothers into racing BMX when she was 4 and she thought it looked "super fun", so she taught herself how to ride without training wheels within a week and went straight to the starting hill and never looked back.
