			<title>Bennett, Daniels score wins at BMX Continental Series finale</title>

			<description>Kyle Bennett and Dominique Daniels rode to the podium's top step in the elite men's and women's contests at the BMX UCI Continental Series finale last Saturday. The tenth and final event in the North American series took place in Rockford, Ill. where Bennett bested USA Cycling's Power Rankings points leader Donny Robinson and the 16-year-old Daniels beat out Alise Post. With Rockford closing out the 2009 continental series, only the 2009 UCI BMX World Championships remain to factor into USA Cycling's Power Rankings.</description>

			<title>BMX Continental Series finale set for Rockford, Ill. this weekend</title>

			<description>With round #9 of the UCI Continental Series in the books as of last weekend, there is just one UCI-sanctioned BMX event left in the U.S. this season. The 10th and final round is set to go off this Saturday, June 20th, in Rockford, Ill. Then, the season will culminate with the 2009 UCI BMX World Championships in Adelaide, Australia July 20-26.</description>

			<title>BMX worlds - challenge and masters level start lists now available</title>

			<description>USA Cycling has announced the Challenge and Masters categories start lists for the 2009 BMX World Championships slated for July 20-26 in Adelaide, Australia. The start list for the Championship class will be announced after registration for that class closes on July 3rd.</description>

			<title>BMX worlds registration now closed to amateur class riders</title>

			<description>Registration for the 2009 UCI BMX World Championships and Challenge slated for July 20-26 in Adelaide, Australia is now closed for all amateur class riders. Registration for the championship class will remain open until July 3rd. All qualified riders will need a valid USA Cycling International BMX license in order to register for the event. A complete list of qualified riders and more details on how to register are available on the USA Cycling BMX World Championship information page on the BMX homepage.</description>

			<title>USA Cycling BMX Nationals to crown 52 champions in Texas</title>

			<description>USA Cycling will award its first national titles of the year this weekend as the 2009 USA Cycling BMX National Championships take place Saturday at Metroplex BMX in suburban Dallas.  All totaled USA Cycling will crown 52 national champions in elite and amateur categories.  Headlining the list of participants are Olympic medalists Mike Day and Donny Robinson, as well as Olympian and defending champion Kyle Bennett. Saturday's event is the highlight of a three-day weekend which also includes two UCI races - all hosted by the ABA.</description>

			<title>First of four 2009 BMX Junior Development Camps a success</title>

			<description>USA Cycling teamed up with GT Bicycles to host the first of four camps in 2009 to be a part of a USA Cyclingandrsquo;s new BMX Junior Development Program. Seventeen 15-16 year-old men and women were invited to the United States Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif., Feb. 1-6 to take part in the first camp of its kind. USA Cycling, in conjunction with GT Bicycles, plans to continue the camp series with the next event scheduled for June. Several athletes will return and several others will move on to make way for another group of up-and-coming talent.</description>

			<title>USA Cycling introduces BMX Development Program with camp</title>

			<description>Following the success of its various junior and U23 programs across other disciplines of competitive cycling, USA Cycling is expanding its efforts to develop Americaandrsquo;s extensive pipeline of Bicycle Motocross (BMX) athletes. With a focus on the future, the national governing body announced today plans to roll out a national BMX junior development program in 2009. The first initiative of the program is a testing and instructional camp set for Feb. 1-6 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif. andndash; home of the only permanent Supercross-style BMX facility in North America. </description>

			<title>2009's first U.S. UCI BMX event a success in Oklahoma</title>

			<description>Olympic silver-medalist Mike Day and 16-year-old Dominique Daniels earned the elite men's and women's victories at the first U.S.-based UCI-sanctioned BMX competition of the 2009 calendar year. The ABA Sooner Nationals went off on Jan. 24 in suburban Oklahoma City as the first of eight U.S. races on the 2009 UCI Calendar. The ABA So Cal Nationals in Perris, Calif. is set to be the next U.S. race on the UCI BMX calendar on February 7.</description>

			<description>USA Cycling released today the qualification procedures for the 2009 UCI BMX World Challenge in Adelaide, Australia July 23-26, 2009. Automatic nominations to the U.S. Team will once again be awarded based on performance at the USA Cycling BMX National Championships scheduled for March 21, 2009 in Desoto, Texas, as well as performances from last yearandrsquo;s UCI BMX World Challenge from Taiyuan, China. Eligible participants MUST hold a USA Cycling BMX International License and be U.S. citizens.</description>

			<title>First U.S. UCI BMX competition of 2009 next weekend in Oklahoma</title>

			<description>The first U.S.-based UCI-sanctioned BMX competition of the 2009 calendar year is rapidly approaching as the BMX community is gearing up for the ABA Sooner Nationals in suburban Oklahoma City on Jan. 24.  Held in nearby Guthrie, the event will welcome elite and amateur riders with four UCI categories featured - junior men, junior women, elite men and elite women. Participants in the UCI categories are reminded that a UCI International BMX license is required to compete.</description>
