USA Cycling is proud to announce the development of the USA Cycling Professional Tour. The USA Cycling Professional Tour will comprise all of the men's events in the U.S. that are included on the UCI "America Tour" calendar for the given year. The purpose of the USA Cycling Professional Tour is to recognize international competition in the United States and to spotlight events that have made the commitment to hosting international caliber events that feature UCI registered teams.

The opportunity to create a USA Cycling Professional Tour was driven by the dramatic increase in the number of events that registered for inclusion on the 2007 UCI America Tour calendar. The 2007 USA Cycling Professional Tour will consist of 15 events spread over 10 states with 40 days of racing.
