| Each
class has different points associated with one-days and stage races. The
point breakdown is included within the announcement of the NRCs. The NRCs
are open to all UCI teams, as well as USAC men and women. Individual points
will be kept for men and women. Professional and amateur men will not be
ranked separately.Team rankings will also be kept. Team point totals are
based on the total accumulated points of the team's top-five riders. |
| Event Classifications |
| The calendar contains a column showing the event's Classification ( or class). Each class has a different points table for calculating NRC placing points. Sample race classifications: 1.5 and 2.4 The first number, before the decimal point, in the classification describes the type of race. "1" signifies a one-day race "2" signifies a stage race or series The second number, following the decimal point, specifies the class |
