Elite Road Championships: Eligibility

5B1.
Championships are open only to riders who hold USA Cycling rider annual
licenses and meet other qualifications stated in these rules.
5B1. (c) Regardless of any general rule pertaining to National
Championship eligibility, any National Championship that is a direct qualifier
for the World Championships or Olympic Games may only be entered by riders
who are eligible under international regulations to enter those events as
part of the U.S. team.
5F1. Elite national championships are open only to riders
with a racing age of 17 or higher who are USA citizens as shown on their
licenses, subject to the category restrictions shown with the events below.
However, state championships are also open to permanent residents as shown
on their licenses.
OTHER ELIGIBILITY NOTES:
1) LIMITED LICENSES - If your USCF license reads "LIMITED"
this means that proof of your citizenship was not on file with USA Cycling
at the time you purchased your license. Riders with limited licenses must
bring a photocopy of their birth certificate or passport to registration/packet
pickup in order to receive their race number. Only riders with American
citizenship are eligible to enter the Elite National Championships or USA
Cycling Men's Team Selection Race.
2) JUNIOR MEN SELECTION RACES - Is open only to Junior
Men with a racing age of 17 or 18 who hold a USA Cycling annual license
holder (USCF or International)
3) JUNIOR MEN RACING IN ELITE TIME TRIAL CHAMPIONSHIP -
Junior men age 17-18 choosing to compete in the Elite Men's Time Trial Championship
WILL NOT be eligible for the Junior Selection Series Time Trial as well.
Riders must make a choice between the two events. First lap time splits
from the Elite TT will not be used to score a Junior who chooses to race
as an Elite instead of in the morning Junior Selection Series race.
