Maccabi USA now accepting applications for 2013 Maccabiah Games


Maccabi USA is looking for cyclists to join the men's and women's squads that will represent the USA in the road race and time trial at the 2013 Maccabiah Games in Israel. This unique opportunity is open to Jewish cyclists who have a promising race resume.

Maccabi USA is a non-profit organization that promotes Jewish pride through sports, and works to strengthen bonds between the Jewish Diaspora and Israel. The Maccabiah Games are an opportunity for Jewish athletes the world over to share their heritage and customs in a competitive athletic setting.

Applicants can choose to apply for the open team (under 40) or the master's team (40+). The team's leaders formally invite you to apply for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The deadline for formal applications will be October 31, 2012, and team selection will be announced by mid-January, 2013.
