Pro GRT continues this weekend with Crankworx Colorado

Colorado Springs, Colo. (June 29, 2010) -- The 2010 USA Cycling Professional Mountain Bike Gravity Tour (Pro GRT) makes its way to the Rocky Mountains this weekend with a stop at Winter Park Resort’s Trestle Bike Park.

The Colorado event will be held in conjunction with the fourth annual Crankworx Colorado and is the fourth of five international-grade downhill events on the Pro GRT. Winter Park will host many of the world’s top riders as they look to gain points in the season-long series.

Heading into Winter Park, Bryn Atkinson (AUS/Transition Racing) leads the men’s series with 145 points while Andrew Neethling (RSA/Trek World Racing) and Justin Leov sit in second and third with 130 and 120 points respectively. On the women’s side, Tracy Moseley (GBR/Trek World Racing) has a commanding lead with 165 points, compared to the 110 collected so far by a tied Jill Kintner (Seattle, Wash.) and Melissa Buhl (Chandler, Ariz./KHS Bicycles).
