USA Cycling announces Reynolds Cycling as sponsor and supplier

Colorado Springs, Colo. (March 12, 2010) -- USA Cycling is pleased to announce Reynolds Cycling as an official sponsor and supplier for the national governing body’s domestic and internationally-based development programs.

Per the agreement, which extends through the end of 2012, Reynolds will provide road, time trial and track wheels to USA Cycling’s junior, women’s and U23 road development programs and endurance track programs.

“We are very excited to work with USA Cycling, not only to provide the best product from our wheel line, but also to help support the mentoring that USA Cycling provides to young athletes moving through the ranks of racing, both domestically and abroad,” stated Reynolds Cycling CEO Dean Gestal.

USA Cycling Development Program athletes will have the option to race on Reynolds wheels in events like the upcoming UCI Track World Championships in Denmark, all the way to the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

“We are proud to have the support of a world leader in wheel technology such as Reynolds,” commented USA Cycling CEO Steve Johnson. “Wheel quality is a vital factor in racing and the Reynolds partnership is another important step as we continue to strive to provide our athletes with top quality products.”
