Kristin Armstrong named USA TODAY's Olympic Athlete of the Week
Colorado Springs, Colo. (September 30, 2009) – Kristin Armstrong (Boise, Idaho/Cervelo-Lifeforce) won this week’s USA TODAY Olympic Athlete of the Week award. The 2008 Olympic time trial champion retired from the sport on top last week, capping off her final season of racing with a second career time trial world title at the 2009 UCI Road World Championships in Switzerland.
