Sutherland & Armstrong win Nature Valley overall
Rory Sutherland (AUS/OUCH-Maxxis) extended his USA Cycling National Racing Calendar lead after winning the Nature Valley Grand Prix last week in Minnesota. Kristin Armstrong (Boise, Idaho/Cervelo-Lifeforce) won the opening and closing stages to secure the overall victory against the ultra-competitive women's field at Nature Valley and hold her second-place-spot in the women's NRC rankings. After 13 total events, Rory Sutherland (AUS/OUCH-Maxxis) and Alison Powers (Boulder, Colo./Team Type I) continue to lead the individual standings. Colavita-Sutter Home p/b Cooking Light took over the lead in the men's team standings while Team Type I remained in the top spot on the women's side.
