Sutherland and Powers win Joe Martin Stage Race

Rory Sutherland (AUS/OUCH-Maxxis) used balanced results to win the four-day Joe Martin Stage Race over individual time trial winner Ben Jacques-Maynes (Watsonville, Calif./Bissell). In the women's competition it was the ITT winner, Alison Powers (Boulder, Colo./Team Type I) who came out on top of the sixth NRC event of the season. Following his win in the fifth men's event Sutherland grabbed the NRC lead in the men's standings while Powers jumped to the top of the women's points standings after six events. The latest version of the USA Cycling National Racing Calendar standings is as follows:
