David Zabriskie (Salt Lake City, Utah) won his third straight USA Cycling professional time trial national championship, the 11th event on the USA Cycling Professional Tour, on Aug. 30. Tyler Hamilton (Boulder, Colo.) sprinted to the win in the USA Cycling professional road championships, the 12th event on the Pro Tour, the following day in Greenville, S.C. The 13th event on the USA Cycling Pro Tour, the Univest Grand Prix, took place on September 6 in Souderton, Pa. Lucas Euser (Napa, Calif.) took the win in the 1.2-rated contest that also served as the penultimate race on the United States' highest level cycling calendar. Following the completion of 13 events on the USA Cycling Pro Tour, Levi Leipheimer (Santa Rosa, Calif.) remains atop the overall individual standings, while Garmin-Chipotle takes over as the current leader in the team rankings. The latest version of the USA Cycling Professional Tour standings are as follows:
