Welcome to the homepage for the 2013 UCI Mountain Bike Teams. On here you will find all the available information regarding registering MTB teams. In case you have navigated here by accident, this information is specific to MTB teams. We also manage UCI Track Teams and UCI Continental Road Teams. Team Composition

UCI MTB teams can be classified as being strictly for a particular discipline, XC, DH/4X, or it can be a combination of more than one. If it is strictly a DH/4X team, then the team must have a minimum of two riders up to a maximum of 10 riders. If the team is a XC or any combination of disciplines, it must have a minimum of three riders and a maximum of 10 riders.

A rider may not be the team manager or any other team staff member! There must be a Team Manager listed for the team.

A team must be classified as a Domestic Pro Team in order to accrue points on the Pro MTB Cross-country Tour or before they can become a UCI team.

Registration Fees

The fee payable to the UCI is 1,500 Euros, which must be paid by Janurary 15th, 2013. The fee payable to USA Cycling is $250, which must be received after the UCI has accepted the team. The USA Cycling fee is due no later than Feburary 15th. The information for wiring the UCI fee is shown below:

Key Dates for Registration

The application must be made to the UCI by January 15th 2013. All materials are due on that day. If your team is accepted as an MTB Elite team, the additional 2,000 Euros will be due no later than March 1st, 2013. 

Materials Needed for Registration

To register a MTB team with the UCI, you need to submit several documents as listed below:

• A letter of approval from USA Cycling. There is a template for this in the archive of downloadable files or you can get it by clicking here. Please adapt this template to your team and email it to sfarrell@usacycling.org. We will then sign and stamp it and get it back to you for submission.
• MTB Domestic Pro Team Membership Application
• The official UCI registration form
• A color graphic design of your jersey in EPS or JPEG format with a minimum resolution of 300 pixels.
• A copy of each rider’s contract

Also, USA Cycling needs an electronic copy of your UCI registration form once you have it all filled out. Thanks.
