Press Conference to announce major event

MEDIA ADVISORYOFFICIAL PRESS CONFERENCE TO ANNOUNCE
SIGNIFICANT INTERNATIONAL
CYCLING INITIATIVE / INNAGURAL ROAD RACE

WHAT: Official press conference to announce the establishment of a partnership to create and produce a major new outdoor cycling road race. The multi-million dollar initiative, presented and promoted by AEG, will have a significant association to the state of California and be sanctioned by UCI as well as USA Cycling.

WHO: M. Hein Verbruggen – President, Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI);

Gerard Bisceglia – CEO, USA Cycling

Richard Riordan – Secretary of Education, State of California and liaison to Governor Schwarzenegger on behalf of the race.

Timothy J. Leiweke – President and CEO, AEG.
