U.S. Team for final round of track world cup

Colorado Springs, Colo. (February 9, 2005)—USA Cycling announced today the team for the fourth and final round of the 2004/05 UCI World Cup in Sydney, February 18-20.

The men’s endurance squad is comprised of Jame Carney (Boulder, Colo.), Robert Lea (Taneytown, Md.), Mike Friedman (State College, Pa.), Josh Kerkof (Battleground, Wash.), and Gui Nelessen (Bellemead, N.J.) while Christian Stahl (Bethany, Conn.) will be the lone sprinter for the U.S. men.

Jennie Reed (Kirkland, Wash.), Becky Conzelman (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Anna Webb (San Diego, Calif.) will represent the women’s team.

Jame Carney (points race, madison, scratch race)
Robert Lea (team pursuit, individual pursuit)
Mike Friedman (team pursuit, madison)

Women
Becky Conzelman (500m time trial, keirin, sprint)
Anna Webb (scratch race, points race)
Jennie Reed (sprint, keirin)
