MTB Nats: Price Increase & Qualification

Early-Bird Registration
Ends Tomorrow for Mountain Bike Nationals!

If you're planning to compete at the USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Championships, July 18-23 on West Virginia's Snowshoe Mountain, register now while we're still in the early registration period. Prices increase tomorrow!

The epic trails of Cheat Mountain will serve as the backdrop for riders to compete for more than 100 Stars-and-Stripes jerseys in cross-country, short track cross-country, downhill, dual slalom, and enduro. In addition to the national championship racing, there will be non-championship races available.

For those classes that require qualification, the qualification guidelines can be found here. For any qualification questions, please contact USA Cycling.

Team Relay

Join us this year for our non-championship team relay event. A hugely popular race at our collegiate nationals, we’ve introduced this to cyclocross and are now bringing it to mountain bike nationals. Teams of two to four riders ride on a shortened cross country course to complete four laps for a team time. We want to see some kids out there with their parents, with their older teammates, and with pros. Team composition guidelines can be found in the Qualification, Rules and Callup document.

Gravity Rider Seeding

Gravity riders might notice some disparity between what's listed for the finals on the schedule and the registration page. This is because the registration page lists the first time you'll need to race, which for some races is a qualifying or seedding run held before the finals.
