First Involvement in Cycling: His family has always been involved in cycling and he's been hooked ever since his dad took him out for his first single track session
Community and Charity Involvement: Rides with the Helena Dynamos, a youth mountain bike team in Helena. He started racing with the program and now he has progressed to the position of ride leader and mentor and has been able to see the program grow to an incredible size.

Family: Son of Randy and Gail Beckner...Randy is a multiple-time Ironman national and world champion in his age group who competed between the years of 1989-1998...Randy is also an Xterra and cross-country skiing world champion in his age group in 2008.
