Jill Logan Election Statement

Jill Logan
Mountain Bike Committee - At-Large

Mountain biking is such an exciting sport.  I have dedicated the past ten years to promoting the Root 66 Race Series in New England (along with my husband) to make sure that mountain bikers enjoy quality, fun and competitive racing.  I have also been a race official with USA Cycling for 15 years and once upon a time even raced a few events, so I have experienced the mountain bike arena from many angles.
On the mountain bike committee ( I am currently the at large member) we are striving to continue to grow racing not only at the Pro level but grass roots as well.  By working on both areas we all benefit as racers and race enthusiasts.  It is our responsibility to work with USA Cycling to keep cycling moving in a positive direction and make sure that what is in the best interest of the racer and race director is achieved.  I/We all work very hard to accomplish this and I would certainly like to continue on this mission.
While serving on the committee I have also been  part of the women’s subcommittee with our focus being the growth of women in racing.  This group has taken off and it is my hope that your support will keep me in the position of advocating for you the racer and race director.
Happy Trails,
Jill Logan
