Jesse Anthony wins run-off to serve on USA Cycling’s Professional Committee
Colorado Springs, Colo. (October 9, 2012) -- USA Cycling held two elections during the month of September: 1) a run-off between Jesse Anthony and Lucas Euser for the Male Athlete position available on the USA Cycling Professional Committee and 2) an election between James Carney and Cari Higgins for the Representative spot on the U.S. Olympic Committee Athlete Advisory Council.
Jesse Anthony claims Male Athlete position on USA Cycling’s Professional Committee
When USA Cycling held its Sport Committee elections in August, Timmy Duggan filled one of two Male Athlete positions available on the Professional Committee, but the second position remained unfilled after Jesse Anthony and Lucas Euser tied.  A run-off was held during the month of September, and USA Cycling announced today that Jesse Anthony will fill the second spot.
