USA Cycling and regional camp managers hosted a Women's Regional Development Camp in Sonoma, Calif., June 22-27.
Women's Regional Development Camp deemed success

USA Cycling hosted its first-ever women's specific development camp in Sonoma, Calif., June 22-27. With a goal of focusing on women-specific racing issues, camp director Claire House worked with USA Cycling's Director of Endurance Programs, Jim Miller to grow the camp out of the regional development camp model. The first of two Women’s Regional Development Camps planned for this summer, the West Coast camp was deemed a success by particpants and mentors alike.
