Event Description

Join us for a full day of family fun at the 5th Annual Global Imports Sandy Springs Cycling Challenge. After the ride, please enjoy the Sandy Springs Food & Wine Classic, with a variety of Sandy Springs eateries as well as wine tastings. The Food & Wine Classic begins at 11 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m. We have the exciting finals of the SE Crits Series – “Speed Week” with some of the best Pro-Cycling that the Region will see in 2012. These great professional cyclists will fight for a purse worth tens of thousands of dollars after a week of racing around the Southeast. Watch the Pros climb Mount Sandy Springs.

Course Description

A 100K, metric century ride around the streets of North Atlanta. Northside Hospital Challenge Riders will receive a technical T-Shirt and a finish line with FREE sandwiches and drinks for participating riders. All proceeds will go to support our POLICE and FIRE departments in Sandy Springs and the charities they support (Special Olympics and the Police Department Benevolent Fund).
