Event Description

The Second Ascent Ballard Criterium is one of Seattle’s classic bike races with a great city course, lots of fans and a fantastic atmosphere. Just like the original crits in Belgium, the keystone pro event kicks off at 7:30pm with fans spilling out of the local bars and restaurants to watch and cheer.

Course Description

Four corner, ~1km on bumpy city streets with a very slight side hill.

Registration

There are two ways to register: USA Cycling and day of race. Day of race registration will open at 2:30pm and close 15 minutes prior to each category’s start time. Registration will be located behind the start/finish truck. USCF license required and can be purchased from USA Cycling. One day USCF license available for Cat 5 men’s and Cat 4 women’s races only - $10.

All USCF rules will be enforced! All riders must sign a waiver and wear an USCF approved helmet! USCF permit #2012-1495
