 Event Description
On May 7th, the speed and adrenaline of professional cycling descends on the Downtown Pittsburg. Prepare yourself for the pageantry of the criterium style of racing -- short, fast, urban and gritty. Absorb the romanticism of a twilight race -- part fading sun, part Downtown Lights. This isn’t cycling you watch. This is cycling you feel.

 Course Description
The 1-km course, located in Pittsburg's waterfront downtown setting, starts and finished on Railroad Ave while running clockwise on 8th, Marina Blvd, E. 3rd St, Railroad. E St. The Expo will occupy the Plaza 6th & 8th on Railroad, while the Pro Athlete Village area is located on the waterfront on Marina Blvd & E. 3rd.

 Registration
All fields are limited and will sell-out. Please register early. No phone or faxed entries will be accepted. All participants will sign a waiver/release form at registration. Those under 18 years old require a parent's or guardian's signature. USA Cycling sanctioned. Riders must present a current USA Cycling license at registration. Competitor age is determined by the age of the rider on Dec. 31, 2011. Extra Race is at a 50% discount. There are no refunds or transfers. If available, on-site registration will assess a $10 late fee.

 Directions
From SF, take the Bay Bridge to 580 East to CA-24 ramp on the left to Walnut Creek/San Francisco/Hayward. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for I-680 N/Sacramento/Concord and merge onto I-680 N. Slight right at CA-242 N/State Route 242 N (signs for Concord/Pittsburg). Take exit 3C on the left to merge onto CA-4 E toward Stockton/Pittsburg. Take exit 23 for Railroad Ave. Turn left at Railroad Ave.
