Event Description

Situated in the Laramie Range of Southeastern Wyoming, the course is a challenging 72.5 miles climbing over 8,600 vertical feet, all above 7,500 feet elevation. The route is a fast and extremely fun loop, covering no ground twice, except the initial/final 0.8 miles. It includes virtually every kind of trail and surface a mountain biker is likely to encounter in the Rockies, from wildlife trails to single track to dirt roads. This event is not for the casual or beginner rider.

Registration

Race proceeds benefit the Albany County Chapter of the American Red Cross of Wyoming, Medicine Bow Mountain Bike Patrol, and other local and regional non-profit organizations. Laramie Enduro is a 501(C)3 Non-Profit Organization. http://www.LarmieEnduro.org

Directions

From Laramie: Travel approximately 9.5 miles east (of the Grand Ave. Exit) on I-80. Take the Summit Rest Area Exit (Exit 323), turn left (towards the rest area) and continue straight on USFS Road 705 (Blair-Wallis Road) past the Summit Rest Area. Follow the Blair-Wallis Road for approximately 0.5 miles and look for the parking signs (race parking will be on the left along Road 705F-No Parking along Road 705. Proceed another 0.3 miles down Road 705 to the Hidden Valley Picnic Area - follow signs to the parking & start areas. From Cheyenne: Travel approximately 39 miles west on I-80 take the Summit Rest Area Exit (Exit 323) turn right (towards the rest area) and continue straight on USFS Road 705 – from that point follow directions listed above.
