 Event Description
On July 11th, the speed and adrenaline of professional cycling returns to the streets of San Rafael. Prepare yourself for the pageantry of the criterium style of racing -- short, fast, urban and gritty. Absorb the romanticism of a twilight race -- part fading sun, part Downtown Lights. This isn’t cycling you watch. This is cycling you feel.

 Course Description
The 1-km course, located in San Rafael’s vibrant downtown setting, starts and finishes on 4th Street while running clockwise on 4th, E St., 5th St., and B St. The Expo will occupy 4th St. between A St. & B St., while the Pro Athlete Village area is located between Lootens and A St. (Note: A St., west/east bound access will remain open to through traffic).

 Registration
• All fields are limited and will sell-out. Please register early. • No phone or faxed entries will be accepted. No mail entries postmarked after the designated deadline will be accepted or processed. Race promoter reserves right to deny entry to any athlete per promoter’s discretion. • All participants will sign a waiver/release form at registration. Those under 18 years old require a parent's or guardian's signature. • USA Cycling sanctioned. Riders must present a current USA Cycling license at registration. • Competitor age is determined by the age of the rider on Dec. 31, 2009.

Neutral Technical support will be provided by SRAM.

 Directions
From US-101, take the Central San Rafael Exit, merge onto Irwin and make a left on 3rd St. The closed course is between Lootens & E St on 4th St.
