Deadline approaching to register Domestic Elite Road Teams

Deadline approaching to register Domestic Elite Road Teams

The deadline for registering your Domestic Elite Road Team is February 15, 2012.

Obtaining Domestic Elite Team Status is your club’s last chance to participate in USA Cycling’s National Racing Calendar (NRC) rankings for 2012.

The Domestic Elite status was introduced in 2011 as a stepping stone to becoming a professional level team. Men’s and women’s road teams that wish to accrue NRC Team points must either be registered as a Domestic Elite Team or a UCI-registered team.

Race season is just around the corner. The National Racing Calendar kicks off on March 22 with the Redlands Bicycle Classic, so if you’re interested in becoming a Domestic Elite Team – be sure to register now!

The detailed guidelines and application forms are available on the UCI and Domestic Elite Teams page of the USA Cycling website.

If you have questions during the registration process, please contact USA Cycling's Results, Rankings & Registration Manager Tom Mahoney.
