Communique 1 for the
Amateur and Para-cycling Road National Championships

Dear Riders:

Welcome to the 2013 USA Cycling Amateur and Para-cycling Road National Championships in Madison, WI. Below are some points that the commissaires and the race organization would like you to be aware of.

Start Lists
All start lists for the event will be able to be found at http://www.usacycling.org/usa-cycling-amateur-para-cycling-road-nationals-start-lists.htm. Please note that all TT start times posted as of now are unofficial, as registration is still open for that event. Official start list will be posted tomorrow evening.

Pre-Riding
When pre-riding the Medina Road Race cource, please keep in mind that thecourse is open to traffic, and that riders should be minding the rules of the road.

Blue Mounds Road Race Course
Please note that there has been a change to the Blue Mounds Road Race course due to some unforseen road work. The new map can be found in the links to the right.

Radios in the Time Trial
Per UCI rule 2.2.024, radio's will be allowed in the U23 Men's and Women's Time Trial.

Junior Rollout
Rollout for juniors will be conducted after the race for the Road Race and Criterium and before the Time Trial. The officials may choose to conduct rollout at other times as well.

ROAD NATIONALS LINKS

Feed Zone at Blue Mounds
Feeding for the Junior Women's races on Wednesday, July 3 will begin on the first passage of the feed zone. Feeding for the U23 Men's race on Wednesday, July3 will begin on the second passage of the feed zone.Feeding will not be allowed on the final passage of the feed zone (leading into the finish). Feeding from cars will end at 20km to go in the MU-23 Road Race.
