USA Cycling's sport committees are a vital part of our sport's future. Working in an advisory capacity, the committees collaborate with USA Cycling staff to develop rules and consider the issues relevant to the respective disciplines.  Sport committees also elect representatives to the USA Cycling Board of Directors, ensuring that all stakeholders in the sport have a relevant and consistent role in developing the future of their disciplines.

Fourteen non-athlete positions are up for grabs in this year's sport committee elections.

In addition, one special election will be held to replace the female athlete representative on the collegiate committee, who is stepping down in the middle of her four-year term. The winner of that election will serve the term's remaining two years.
